Albany Street lies
approximately 1km to the north west of Hull City Centre and forms an area
of terraced housing with a high turnover of residents. The
population of the street consists of owner occupiers, students and short
term let tenants, many from ethnic minorities.
It lies adjacent to one of the main radial routes into Hull, along
which bus priority measures and environmental enhancements are currently
being installed. Albany
Street has recently been provided with traditional traffic calming
measures.
