New Home Zone video launched

Home Zones - The UK Experience, produced by Heads Together, was jointly commissioned by Transport 2000 and the Children's Play Council with funding from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.  This second Home Zones video tracks the progress of the first UK Home Zones and looks at the challenges and benefits of Home Zones for all those involved.  Including interviews with residents and local authority officers, there is a 12 minute version which is ideal for showing at community meetings in addition to the 40 minute version which explores the issues in more depth.

This video is an invaluable resource for anyone working on a Home Zone or interested in finding out more about Home Zones in Britain, including residents’ and community groups, local authority staff, transport consultants, property developers and those with an interest in transport policy and community development.

To obtain a copy of the new video, Home Zones – the UK Experience, phone Marston Book Services on 01235 465 500. It costs £29.99 for local authorities and consultants and £12.99 for community groups.
