If you are designing a scheme with home zone features, create a 2 or 3 page PDF with scheme details and images and send it to deputy@ihie.org.uk. If accepted, the scheme will be listed below.

Or, if your scheme has been or will be designated as a home zone, you can use the Case Study System which loads only schemes approved by the Vetting Panel, giving you added cudos.

Why create a designated home zone?

•  Only designated streets can display the Home Zone sign.

•  The Home Zone sign warns drivers that these streets are different. A 20mph sign only indicates a speed limit: it says nothing about shared space.

 • The Home Zone sign says it's safe to play.
