IHIE Home Zone Case Studies

Home Zones are evolving all the time, so to help us learn from each other the IHIE has provided an easy-to-use resource of case studies where you can search for new and retrofit development schemes in the UK.

If you are a developer/professional you might be interested in contributing to this valuable resource. It also offers you an excellent opportunity to publicise your Home Zone schemes.

Here you'll find examples of good practice:

To add your scheme, which will feature in the rolling Home Page visuals, you need to register for a password and follow the User Guide.

Mainly 'retrofit' home zones on existing streets completed before 2006.

New Build Home Zones

It is possible to fasttrack designation.  Go to Topic Papers for advice on designation and order making procedures.  The page is regularly updated.
